2025 (Graduate Student): Played in 11 games at wide receiver... Was fourth on the team with 41 receptions, was fifth with 502 receiving yards, and was sixth with two receiving touchdowns... Averaged 12.24 yards per catch and 45.64 receiving yards per game... Was one of five Falcons' pass catchers with over 500 receiving yards... Was tied for 10th on the Falcons in scoring (12 points)... Had at least five receptions in four games... Set a season-high in catches (8) and receiving yards (118) at Western Oregon (Oct. 18)... In the next game vs. West Texas A&M (Oct. 25), Mathis caught six passes for 56 yards, including three catches on UTPB's second drive of the game... The following week, Mathis caught his first touchdown as a Falcon with a five-yard touchdown reception in the final 30 seconds of the first half against Eastern New Mexico (Nov. 8)... Caught a touchdown for the second game in a row to end the regular season with a 30-yard catch and run down the sideline for the first points of the second quarter vs. Sul Ross State (Nov. 15)... Caught three passes for 40 yards as No. 10-ranked UTPB earned its first playoff win in program history with a 37-24 victory at No. 4-ranked and No. 3-seeded Colorado State Pueblo (Nov. 22)... Had two catches for 12 yards, but also caught the two-point conversation attempt on the Falcons' first score of the game midway through the fourth quarter as No. 10 UTPB defeated No. 15 Western Colorado 21-15 in the second round of the playoffs (Nov. 22)... Led the Falcons in receptions (8) and added 62 receiving yards as No. 10 UTPB's historic year came to an end in the 2025 NCAA Division II Football Championship Super Region 4 Final with a 34-28 loss at No. 2 Harding (Dec. 6). East Central (2022-2024): 2024 season saw action in 10 games and recorded 17 receptions for 166 yards and one touchdown... 2023 season saw action in three games and total four receptions for 31 yards... 2022 season saw action in six games, recorded four receptions for 41 yards, and totaled 81 yards on five kick returns for Head Coach Kris McCullough.
