2024: Continued to play his part in Hillsdale's secondary rotation, playing in nine contests and recording a career high 24 tackles...set a new career high for single-game tackles with five against UIndy (Sept. 7), and matched that total with five tackles at Findlay (Sept. 28)...recorded a pass breakup in wins over Kentucky Wesleyan (Oct. 26) and Tiffin (Nov. 9). 2023: Coming off a redshirt year, emerged as a part of the secondary rotation, appearing in all 11 games with 17 tackles and two pass breakups and earning Chargers’ Defensive Player of the Week honors for his play in Hillsdale’s Nov. 11 win over Ohio Dominican…recorded a career high four tackles in Hillsdale’s win over Thomas More on Oct. 21…named to the team’s One Play Warrior Club for his work on special teams. 2022: Redshirted...named Hillsdale College Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 25-Oct. 1...will have four seasons of eligibility remaining entering the 2023 season. High School: Another talented prospect from Notre Dame Cathedral Latin High School in Ohio, joining fellow Lions Josh Peroni, Zach Urda and Jack Robinson already on the Hillsdale College roster...One of NDCL's top secondary players over the past two seasons, earning back-to-back All-District Honorable Mention honors, as well as first-team All-Crown Conference in 2021 as a senior...earned distinction as an Honors Student at NDCL, and also was active in the community as a CPE Leader and Pall Bearer...parents are John and Cara Niksa.
