2024: Part of Hillsdale's secondary rotation, appearing in nine games...made a season-high four tackles and forced a fumble against Walsh on homecoming (Oct. 12), earning Hilsdale's Big Stick award for that contest. 2023: Played his way into the lineup early in the season and became an integral part of Hillsdale’s defensive back rotation, with 35 tackles and two pass breakups on the year…led the team with a career-high 11 total tackles against Findlay on Sept. 23, and also recorded a career-high four solo tackles and 2 PBUs against Ohio Dominican on Nov. 1. 2022: Redshirted...named Hillsdale College Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 16-22...will have four seasons of eligibility remaining entering the 2023 season. High School: Standout two-way player for small-school Michigan powerhouse Schoolcraft, helping the Eagles to a 2020 MHSAA D7 regional title and semifinal appearance, as well as three consecutive district titles...earned honorable mention all-state honors as a senior in 2021, rushing for 1,135 yards and 11 touchdowns offensively while recording 91 tackles in eight games...added 26 solo tackles and four rushing touchdowns as a junior to aid Schoolcraft's 2020 run...two-sport athlete also came off the bench for the Eagles during Schoolcraft's run to the 2022 MHSAA D3 state title in boys basketball, appearing in both the semifinal and final games...excellent student earned Academic All-State honors as a senior and was a member of the Schoolcraft branch of the National Honor Society...active volunteer with the First Presbyterian Church of Schoolcraft and the Schoolcraft Food Pantry, among other charitable endeavors...parents are James and Jill Strake.
