2024: A leader and a rock defensively for the Chargers, finishing with a team high 57 tackles despite missing nearly two full games with an injury, as well as 10 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks...earned D2CCA first team All-Region honors and first team All-G-MAC honors for his play, becoming the only Charger on the season to make an All-Region first team...won Hillsdale's Ralph Miller III Award for Most Outstanding Linebacker for the second straight season...had a career-high 13 tackles in the Chargers' Sept. 21 contest against Ashland, earning Hillsdale's Every Player, Every Play award for his performance...named Hillsdale's Defensive Player of the Week against Findlay (Sept. 28) after finishing with seven tackles, three for loss, and two sacks, and won the award again on Nov. 16 after recording eight tackles and two and a half sacks in Hillsdale's season-finale victory at Ohio Dominican...one of the top returning defensive players in the G-MAC entering the 2025 season. 2023: Made the most of opportunities created by injuries to become an impact player for the Chargers defense, leading the team in tackles with 54 despite not cracking the lineup until week 4 of the season…named the Chargers’ Outstanding Linebacker of the Year for 2023…had a career-high 12 tackles in just his second start in Hillsdale’s Sept. 30 win over Northwood…recorded nine tackles and a sack on the road at Tiffin on Oct. 7…should be a key player for Hillsdale in his second year of play in 2024. 2022: Redshirted...will have four seasons of eligibility remaining entering the 2023 season. High School: Dual-sport athlete who was a team captain and MVP for Birmingham Seaholm High School in Michigan...earned Defensive MVP and Most Valuable Lineman awards from his team for the 2021 season...also a talented wrestler, twice qualified for the MHSAA Division 1 state finals individually at 215 pounds and earned one all-state honor...active volunteer who worked with a basketball team for kids with special needs for two seasons...parents are Louis and Jennifer Orcutt.
