2024: Took over as the team's starting punter and held the job for all 11 games, averaging 39.7 yards per punt with three touchbacks and 16 punts inside the 20, as well as four punts of 50-plus yards...awarded Hillsdale's Special Teams Player of the Week award against Ashland (Sept. 21) after a 56-yard punt and Lake Erie (Oct. 19) after a 59-yard punt...also took over as the team's top place-kicker for three weeks, going 9 of 10 on extra points, including a 5 for 5 performance against Kentucky Wesleyan on Oct. 26 that earned him a third Special Teams Player of the Week honor...named to the One Play Warrior Club for his contributions on special teams throughout the 2024 season. 2023: Made his first collegiate appearance in Hillsdale’s win over Lake Erie on Oct. 28, punting two times for an average of 44.5 yards, with a long of 54…will compete for the starting punting job in 2024. 2022: Redshirted...will have four seasons of eligibility remaining entering the 2023 season. High School: Three-sport athlete and starting kicker and punter for an Elyria Catholic team that reached the regional final round of the OHSAA Division V playoffs in 2021...named to 2021 All-Ohio Division V team after season where he was 5 of 8 on field goal attempts with a long of 34, and also converted 42 of 44 PAT opportunities...averaged 36.6 yards per punt as a senior with a long of 58...also played hockey and soccer for Elyria Catholic, helping lead the Panther ice hockey team to an 8-1 Great Lakes Conference record in the 2021-22 season...strong student that earned Academic All-Ohio honors and the Presidential Award as a senior, as well as earning membership in the National Honor Society...member of the Boy Scouts of America...parents are Jason and MaryLynn Woodyard.
