High School: Three year starter and defensive leader for Petoskey High School in Northwest Michigan...led the Northmen to the program's first undefeated regular season since 1974 and first MHSAA D3 District title since 2014 as a senior, finishing with 77 tackles, four for loss, 11 pass breakups and eight interceptions while earning first team All-Big North Conference, All-Region and All-State honors...three sport athlete who also earned All-Big North honorable mention honors in baseball while leading Petoskey to district and regional titles in 2024, and played basketball for the Northmen as well...strong student who was an Academic All-State honoree in multiple sports and a member of the National Honor Society and Petoskey Student Advisory Committee...parents are Richard and Tanya Janes.
