Diego Alfaro

Diego Alfaro is a freshman kicker from Cypress, majoring in Business Management at Prairie View A&M University. He graduated from Cypress Ranch High School. Diego’s most memorable moment in sports was calling his own play during the homecoming game against Cy Springs. Despite the coach advising him to kick it deep, he executed a perfect onside kick down the middle, helping the team get back in the game. His favorite entertainer is Adam Sandler, and his favorite movie is Pineapple Express. Diego enjoys carne asada and loves Christmas because it’s fun. His hobbies include pickleball, fishing, and bowling. His gameday ritual involves following the same warmup every time. Diego believes mental health is one of the greatest challenges athletes face today. Five years from now, Diego hopes to be playing professional football in the NFL. He chose Prairie View A&M because it offers him the best opportunity to achieve his goals.
