ABOUT: From Fort Payne, Alabama, Conner is the son of Brandee and Matt Hughes. He chose Berry because of the beautiful campus, proximity to home, and the successful football program. Hughes is an Education major and History minor. During his free time, Hughes enjoys playing soccer and Xbox. 2025: Made 2 PATs... SAA Champion... NCAA Quarterfinal Appearance... SAA Academic Honor Roll... HIGH SCHOOL: In his time at Fort Payne, Conner was named a Kohl's Honorable Mention All-American in 2023 and 2024, Kohl's Week 5 National Player of the Week, and a Wilson 2024 Preseason All-American. In the classroom, Hughes also excelled as a member of Mu Alpha Theta and the National Honor Society.
