ABOUT: The Rome, Georgia native joins Berry because he loved the environment and culture. He says Berry is close to home and he is very familiar with the college as the head coach is his father. Sammy also grew up going to the elementary school at Berry. He is the son of Nicole and Tony Kunczewski and in his free time he enjoys playing video games, going out to eat, and playing golf. 2025: Had a 100-yard kick return touchdown against Huntingdon in week 1... 3 total returns for 160 yards... 14 total tackles... SAA Special Teams Athlete of the Week... D3football Team of the Week... SAA Champion... NCAA Quarterfinal Appearance... SAA Academic Honor Roll... HIGH SCHOOL: In his high school career at Darlington, Kunczewski was a First Team All-Region quarterback and captain. He also lettered in Track and Field and was a state champion.
