Zion Allen
Prior To UH Attended Southern Utah University for one season. Appeared in three games in 2024, recording two tackles. Prior to Southern Utah, attended BYU for two seasons. Did not appear in any games for the Cougars. Prep A 2022 graduate of Manteca High School in California. Lettered in football, basketball and track. A two-way player in football, lining up at defensive back and wide receiver. As a senior, recorded nine pass breakups and 15 tackles, including 13 solo tackles. Offensively, averaged 21.1 yards per catch to go along with four receiving touchdowns. Made the game-winning 59-yard catch in the Sac-Joaquin Section Championship game with 22 seconds remaining. Posted 116 yards receiving and two touchdowns in a 35-28 section championship win over Oakdale. Helped Manteca to a 10-4 record in 2021. Also a track standout. Broke four school records, including a 10.5 in the 100m. Named team MVP. Personal Born in Oakland, Calif. Majoring in American Studies. Has two older brothers and one older sister. Parents are Ricco and Tanesia Allen.
