Zackery Watkins

Zackery Watkins is a dynamic wide receiver for the Broncos, bringing athleticism and versatility to the field. Standing at 6’1” and weighing 194 pounds, Watkins hails from Columbia, South Carolina, where he graduated from Richland Northeast High School in 2023. A multi-sport athlete, he also competed in basketball and track during his high school career and earned All-Region honors in football. Now a junior at Fayetteville State University, Watkins is pursuing a degree in Sports Management with a minor in Health. He chose FSU to grow both personally and academically while embracing the full HBCU experience. Off the field, Zackery enjoys reflecting on his high school basketball days and counts Senior Night as his most memorable sports moment. He credits his mother, Karan Hutto, as the most influential person in his life for teaching him resilience and showing him how to overcome obstacles. His career goal is to succeed in athletic training and directing, helping others reach their potential in sports.
