On the gridiron for coach Mark Talbert, Bergmann was a first-team All-Conference, All-District and All-Area and a second-team All-State selection as a safety to go with being a first-team All-Conference and second-team All-District selection as a running back his junior season ... As a senior was named All-Conference and All-District after playing in eight games and having 121 tackles and 15 touchdowns while helping the Wildcats to their first conference championship since 2008. Personal Zach is the son of Kimberly and Jon Bergmann and is undecided on his major at Southern.
