One of three players to play both offense and defense this season along with Travis Hunter and Isaiah Hardge. He played 583 snaps played on offense, and in 460 pass blocking snaps he allowed one sack two quarterback hits, and 18 hurries. First-team All-SWAC and the top lineman on an offense that lead the SWAC and ranked in the Top 15 in scoring offense at 38.0 points per game, good for eighth in the FCS, passing offense (293.5 yards per game, 10th in FCS) and total offense (448.3 yards per game, 14th in FCS). The Tigers’ offense gained 400 or more yards in a game nine times, including a pair of 600-yard games (638 yards vs. Miss. Valley; 608 yards vs. Grambling). Was a member of an offensive line that ranked 5th nationally and first in the Sun Belt Conference in tackles-for-loss allowed (3.64) and seventh nationally and first in the league in sacks allowed (0.82). The line also opened up Louisiana's rushing attack, which ranked 21st in the nation with 213.0 yards per contest. The unit was named a Joe Moore Award Semifinalist for their outstanding play. JOSEPH CATHOLIC Talented offensive line product playing two years of high school at St. Joseph Catholic High School for coach Jason Moore. Recognized as the 2018 All Capital Team Offensive Lineman Named to the 2A All-District Team in Mississippi. Participated in the Mississippi Bernard Blackwell North vs. South Game. Named VTO Elite Birmingham MVP, as well as a VTO All-American Top 5 Offensive Lineman. Also played basketball in high school. National Latin and English Honors Society.
