High School: Originally from Zephyrhills, Florida where he attended Zephyrhills High School ... Played under Head Coach Nick Carroll and position coach Thomas McHugh ... Finished his senior year with an average of 7.4 tackles per game as he collected 67 on the year to go with 11 TFLs, two sacks, two interceptions and six QB hurries ... In his junior year, he had 54 tackles on the year, two TFLs, two interceptions, a sack and 3 QB hurries ... His sophomore year, he had 42 tackles on the year to go with six TFLs, three sacks and seven QB hurries ... Also played quarterback for his high school accumulating over 1500 total yards and 19 touchdowns ... One of the top games of his career came against Orlando Jones when he had ten total tackles (nine solo) and 101 rushing yards ... During his junior year, he was a First-Team All-Conference for offense and Second-Team honoree for defense while his senior year he also earned a nod to the Second-Team for defense ... During his career, he led Zephyrhills HS to four playoff wins and three District Championships ... Was a three-sport athlete as he was also on the basketball and track & field teams ... Also received offers from South Florida, Central Florida and Temple.
