Tim Malo

Prior to UH Enjoyed a four-year career at Brown University in the Ivy League. Appeared in 24 career games with 16 starts for the Bears. Tallied 100 tackles, six interceptions, 12 pass breakups during his career. Started all 10 games at safety as a senior. Led the team in total tackles (68.0), solo tackles (40.0), and assisted tackles (28.0). Tied for ninth in the Ivy League at 6.8 tackles per game. Also posted 4.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions and two pass breakups on the season. Recorded season-high 10 tackles and an interception at Rhode Island. Had 29 tackles, seven pass breakups and an interception while playing in all 10 games as a junior. Earned the Team Leadership Award. Prep A 2021 graduate of Sehome High School in Bellingham, Wash. A three-time all-conference at both defensive back and wide receiver. Totaled 148 tackles, nine interceptions, and 31 pass breakups in his career On offense amassed 76 career receptions for 1,214 yards and 11 touchdowns for his career. Set school records for receptions in game (13) and for PBU's in a season (15). Also an all-conference player and captain for the baseball squad. Helped lead the baseball team to the state finals. Father, Greg played football at Western Washington (1991-94) and for the Barcelona Dragons in NFL Europe (1997-99). Mother, Megan, played volleyball at the University of San Francisco (1991-94).
