Get to Know Tate ... What is the significance behind your jersey number? My dad wore number 11 his whole life. He got it from Isaiah Thomas from the Detroit Pistons. Who is your biggest role model and why? My dad is my biggest role model because he has supported me throughout my life in everything possible and has always given me great advice. Who was your favorite player growing up and who is someone that you model your game after? Odell Beckham Jr. was my favorite player. I always try to do one handed catches like him. 2025: Played in all 12 games as a true freshman, serving as Kansas' primary punt returner. Led the team with 17 punt returns for 116 yards with a long of 30 yards. Also had two catches for 20 yards as a wide receiver... Fresno State: Saw his first collegiate action and returned one punt... Wagner: Made his first career reception and had two total receptions for 20 yards.
