2024 Honors 2nd Team All-Big Sky Conference Academic All-Big Sky Conference Has taken over as the program’s top tight end due to his skill and versatility... good receiver and a good blocker... due to his athleticism, can line up inside or outside. SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2024 Made a big leap forward in his game, earning second team All-Big Sky Conference honors... started all 10 games he was available to play... 21 receptions for 257 yards and one touchdown on the season... played well against top opponents... had three receptions for 42 yards against Washington State (8/31)... caught an 18-yard touchdown pass in the win over Sacramento State (11/2)... showed his athleticism with a career-best 56-yard reception at Montana (11/16)... earned Academic All-Big Sky Conference. FRESHMAN SEASON • 2023 Played in all 11 games, starting the last six... had six receptions for 46 yards... a redshirt in 2022, but was able to compete in four games... had five catches for 58 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Lincoln (10/8/22). BEFORE PORTLAND STATE Lettered three times in football and twice in track at Skyview High School… named 1st team All-Greater St. Helens League as a tight end and linebacker… also named All-Region as a tight end… team defensive MVP… a four-year Scholar-Athlete Award winner. PERSONAL INFORMATION Son of Jennifer Olney and Joshua Beaman… has two sisters, Molly and Bailey… majoring in Business Administration: Finance…. hobbies are video games, music, basketball and volunteering… interested in the military and private business after college.
