CAREER NOTES: Enters his first year at TU after enrolling for the 2025 Spring Semester … Played at Nebraska and Kansas prior to coming to Tulsa … Has played in 34 career games and rushed 507 yards on 90 career attempts with seven rushing touchdowns … PRIOR TO TULSA: Spent his first two seasons at Nebraska before transferring to Kansas for the last three years. Had rushed 507 yards on 90 career attempts with seven rushing touchdowns. Carried 27 times for 164 yards and two touchdowns, playing in five games during the 2024 season. Carried the ball eight times for 28 yards and a touchdown against Lindenwood. Against Colorado he carried 11 times for 47 yards vs. Colorado also caught one ball for 15 yards. He rushed for 62 yards and found the end zone in five games of action in his junior season. During the 2022 season at Kansas, he rushed the ball for 30 times for 116 yards in seven games. Against Tennessee Tech, he carried the ball eight times against the Golden Eagles for 70 yards and a TD. During that contest he recorded a 30-yard run and averaged 8.8 yards a carry. Returned two kickoffs for a total of 58 yards in Kansas’ win over the Cyclones. Appeared in seven games, rushing 30 times for 116 yards and one touchdown during the 2021 season at Nebraska. Made his Cornhusker debut against Fordham, rushing nine times for 31 yards and two touchdowns. Named to Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in spring, 2021. Redshirted during his first season at Nebraska (2020). HIGH SCHOOL Prepped at Edison High School in Oklahoma, where he set school record for career rushing yards. Morrison broke the previous record (4,009), held by Spencer Tillman, who went on to be an All-American at Oklahoma and a Super Bowl champion. Morrison had 1,798 rushing yards as a senior, averaging nearly 10 yards per carry, while scoring 26 touchdowns, and caught eight passes for 276 yards. Named district offensive player of the year, in addition to winning the Ford Award as the player of the year in Northeast Oklahoma. State’s leading rusher as a junior with 2,728 yards. Also scored 39 total touchdowns and averaged 12.8 yards per carry. Tulsa World All-State First Team member. Consensus four-star recruit. PERSONAL Parents are Marco Morrison and Latoya Wilson. I've had number 28 all my life after my favorite player Adrian Peterson.
