In the first game of the season he had his career high seven tackles against Massachusetts. Had a four game stretch where he registered a tackle for loss or sack in every game against: Western Illinois, Liberty, FIU, and UTEP. Played 312 total defensive snaps. Saw action in five games during the 2022 season. Finished his rookie campaign with one tackle in 34 defensive snaps.
