2024 (Freshman) Appeared in four games. Took limited snaps in appearances vs. Northern Iowa and at Fresno State. Saw first extensive action at Utah State, throwing for 111 yards and a touchdown on 11-of-12 passing. Threw his first career touchdown against the Aggies on a 44-yard pass to Dekel Crowdus in the fourth quarter. Started the season finale versus New Mexico, putting up historic numbers as a true freshman. Tallied 469 yards and five touchdowns on 37-of-57 passing while adding 54 rushing yards on 10 attempts. Became the first UH quarterback to throw for 450+ yards and rush for 50+ yards in a game, while tallying the 10th-best total offense performance (523 yards) in school history.
