2025 (Redshirt Junior): Appeared in all 14 games and made 12 starts at will linebacker in his first season at UTPB... Started in all three playoff games... Was second on the team in solo tackles (32), assisted tackles (32) and total tackles (64); was tied for second with 5.5 tackles for loss; and was tied for fifth with 2.0 sacks... Was one of seven Falcons with an interception, and was one of just two players on the team with both a forced fumble and a fumble recovery... Had eight or more tackles in four games... Contributed half a sack in four games... Also had two pass breakups during the regular season... Had UTPB's first interception of the season just two plays after the Falcons' first scoring drive of the year in the first quarter of UTPB's season-opening upset win over No. 5 Central Oklahoma (Aug. 30)... Led all players with nine tackles in the second game of the season at Adams State (Sept. 6)... Delivered a bone-jarring five-yard tackle for loss, forced fumble and 13-yard fumble recovery all on one play on third down in the redzone on the very first possession of the game by Texas A&M-Kingsville (Sept. 20). It was the first fumble recovery of the season for UTPB. So'oto ultimately finished with a season-high six solo tackles and tied for second on the team with eight total tackles vs. the Javelinas... Tied for second on the team with five tackles and added 1.5 tackles for loss at Western Oregon (Oct. 18)... Was second on the team with seven tackles vs. Eastern New Mexico (Nov. 8)... In UTPB's first-ever playoff win at Colorado State Pueblo (Nov. 22), So'oto delivered an 11-yard sack on second down, leading to a three-and-out on the ThunderWolves' second drive of the second half, and also added a one-yard tackle for loss to start the next CSUP drive. In all, So'oto finished the game against the ThunderWolves second on the team with eight total tackles, and added 1.5 tackles for loss to pace a UTPB defense that totaled six tackles for loss in the game... Tied for second on the team with a season-high 11 tackles as No. 10 UTPB's historic year came to an end in the 2025 NCAA Division II Football Championship Super Region 4 Final with a 34-28 loss at No. 2 Harding (Dec. 6). College of San Mateo (2023-2024): Was a two-time member of the Dean's List... Team was JUCO National Champions... 2024 season played in 11 games with 32 total tackles (15 solo; 17 assisted), 3.0 tackles for loss and one forced fumble.
