Mason Taylor

2024 (Freshman): Did not see any in-game action in 2024. HIGH SCHOOL: A product of Cookeville High School, Taylor had a stellar career for the Cavaliers, under the direction of Golden Eagle football alumnus Taylor Hennigan. Taylor recorded 253 total tackles, intercepting eight passes with 11 breakups, while also forcing three fumbles and recovering one. In his senior campaign with CHS, he had 106 tackles, one for-loss, three interceptions, six pass breakups and three forced fumbles. A team captain, Taylor was twice named as an all-region defensive back and twice the Cavaliers' Defensive Player of the Year, while also earning a Team MVP nod.
