2025: Gallegos will compete for playing time at safety as a redshirt freshman in 2025. 2024: Gallegos saw action in 1 game against Utah State as a true freshman safety in 2024. HIGH SCHOOL: Gallegos, a four-star recruit, was rated as the No. 20 player in the state of California by ESPN, No. 23 by On3, No. 27 by 247Sports and No. 41 by Rivals. He was touted as the No. 20 safety in the nation by ESPN, No. 23 by On3, No. 26 by 247Sports and No. 41 by Rivals. Gallegos played for Chaminade (Calif.) HS for his first three years of high school before transferring to Sierra Canyon (Calif.) HS for his senior year in 2023. He had an impressive junior year for Chaminade and was named to the 2022 CalHi Sports All-State First Team, the 2022 MaxPreps California All-State Team, the 2022 Prep RedZone All-Southern California Jr. Team, the 2022 SB Live All-California Team, the 2022 LA Times All-Star Team and the 2022 LA Daily News All-Area First Team.
