Background

FRESHMAN (2024): Did not see action. High School: Mckinnon was one of the most successful running back products to come out of Desert Edge. In his junior season, he ended with the most rushing yards in the state of Arizona (1,789 yards) with 21 TDs. He was awarded Offensive Player of the Year as well as All-State and All-Conference at the running back position. In his senior season, he was voted All-Region with another 1,000-plus rushing season in only eight games played. Mckinnon helped lead the team to a state championship appearance, finishing as runner-ups. Personal: Mckinnon is the son of Shantai Wells and has three siblings, Melone (21), Makhya (19), and Quentin (16). He hopes to study Business or Sports Management at Idaho.
