He set career highs with 29 receptions, 312 receiving yards and two touchdowns, eclipsing his career totals entering the season in each of those categories. Lindenmeyer had five catches for 47 yards against Cincinnati after entering the year with five career catches for 50 yards. He caught three passes for 44 yards against Akron, including a 10-yard touchdown for his first career score. He had a nine-yard reception against Houston Christian. Lindemeyer had seven catches for 60 yards against No. 21 Michigan, setting career highs in both categories. He had a six-yard reception against Michigan State. Lindemeyer caught two passes for 30 yards at Maryland, including a 7-yard touchdown catch. He also tied his career high with a 23-yard catch on Nebraska's game-winning drive late in the fourth quarter. Lindenmeyer caught four passes at Minnesota and led Nebraska with 52 receiving yards. He had a 15-yard reception against Northwestern. Lindemeyer had two receptions for 23 yards against No. 23 USC. He caught two passes for 20 yards against Iowa. Lindenmeyer had a six-yard catch against No. 15 Utah in the Las Vegas Bowl. 2024 (Sophomore) Lindenmeyer played in all 13 games in 2024 with two starts. He had five catches for 50 yards while providing outstanding perimeter blocking. Lindenmeyer caught the first pass of his career with a 12-yard reception against UTEP. Lindenmeyer had an eight-yard catch at USC. He also had an eight-yard reception in the win over Wisconsin. Lindenmeyer started the PinstripE Bowl and had two catches for 22 yards, setting career highs in both categories. 2023 (Redshirt Freshman) Lindenmeyer played in all 12 games with five starts as a redshirt freshman. He made his first career start at Minnesota when the Huskers opened with three tight ends. Lindenmeyer also started against Michigan, Illinois, Purdue and Iowa. His blocking helped Nebraska boast the Big Ten’s No. 2 rushing offense. 2022 (Redshirt) Lindenmeyer played in one game while utilizing his redshirt season in 2022. He made his debut at tight end at No. 3 Michigan. Before Nebraska (Papillion-La Vista HS) Lindenmeyer joined Nebraska as a walk-on tight end from Papillion-La Vista High School. Lindenmeyer played on both sides of the ball for the Monarchs and was one of the state’s top tight ends. Lindenmeyer helped Coach Tim Williams’ team to a Class A playoff berth in 2021, catching 29 passes for 424 yards and six touchdowns. He added 24 tackles on defense and earned second-team all-metro and honorable-mention all-state honors from the Omaha World-Herald. During his junior season, Lindenmeyer caught 35 passes for 444 yards and three touchdowns, while adding three sacks on defense. He earned honorable-mention all-metro honors in 2020. Lindenmeyer also saw action at tight end as a sophomore in 2019. Lindenmeyer also received interest from Columbia, Army, Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois. Personal Luke is the son of Vincent and Cynthia Lindenmeyer. Luke is a finance major who is on track to graduate in May of 2026.
