In the Rivals Top 250, Seymore was ranked as the No. 151 player in the country, the No. 7 offensive guard in the country and the No. 23 player in Florida. According to the 247Sports Composite Top247, he was the No. 162 overall player, and the outlet considered him the No. 10 offensive guard nationally and the No. 23 player in Florida. He was selected to the Under Armour All-America Game.
