Kylan Salter

AT COLORADO 2025 (So.) Played in 10 games during the 2025 season. He missed two games due to injury. Salter finished the season with six total tackles, four unassisted tackles, and half a tackle for loss. He played the fifth most snaps on special teams with 162 on four different units: kickoff, kickoff return, punt, and punt return. Salter had the fourth most special teams points with 25 behind three unassisted tackles, one assisted tackle, 13 knockdown or springing blocks the eighth most in a single season in CU history, one downed punt, two forced fair catches, four times first down field, and one punt pressure. The 247 Sports Composite ranked Salter the No. 673 player in the country, the No. 58 inside linebacker, and the No. 99 player from Texas. The On3 Industry Ranking listed him as the No. 644 player in the country, the No. 69 safety, and the No. 101 player from Texas. AT CEDAR HILL Played three varsity high school football seasons for head coach Carlos Lynn at Cedar Hill High School. In his junior season, he totaled 115 tackles, 16 tackles for a loss, four forced fumbles, and he returned two fumbles for touchdowns. Salter also competed in track and field and was a member of Cedar Hill’s 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams. PERSONAL Salter’s older brother, Kaidon, is a quarterback on the Colorado football team.
