Completed 58.9% (149-of-253) of his passes for 1,585 yards and nine TDs. His 1,585 passings yards were the most by a QB at Tulsa during the 2021 season. Had three games over 200 yards passings. Had a season-high 299 yards and four touchdowns in the season-opener against Northwestern State. Had five games with 15 or more completions. Connected for a season-long pass of 72 yards at South Florida Nov. 23. Completed a team-best 24 passes against La. Tech on Sept. 21. Had five games over the season of completed 60 or more percent of his passes. 2023: Played in four games and started the final two contests as a true freshman Completed 56.2% of his passes for 967 yards and six TDs. Played the entirety of the final two games of the season. Made his first collegiate appearance in a reserve role vs. Charlotte, while completing 6-of-16 passes for 71 yards. A week later, played the majority of the game against No. 20 Tulane and completed 22-of-34 passes for 345 yards and one TD. His passing performance became the second-best among freshmen in school history, behind only T.J. Rubley’s 386 yards in the 1987 season opener against Oklahoma State. Was named to the AAC weekly honor roll for his performance vs. Tulane. Completed 170-of-34 passes for 251 yards and a season-high three TDs against North Texas. In the season finale, completed 23-of-37 passes for 297 yards and two TDs, while rushing for 23 yards against East Carolina. Led Tulsa on a final drive that covered 48 yards in 11 plays to setup a 37-yard game-winning field goal against the Pirates. HIGH SCHOOL Was a four-year letterwinner and three-year starter at Metro Christian High School. Totaled 9,599 passing yards and 115 touchdowns with a completion rate of 66-percent in his career. Completed 70-percent of his passes for 4,384 yards and 58 touchdowns his senior season to rank 8th nationally for most passing yards and in a second-place tie for TD passes. Led his team to a 13-1 record and Class 3A state runner-up finish. Threw for an Oklahoma state record of 626 yards and five TDs on 37-of-62 passes in the state title game. Was the Prep Redzone No. 2 rated quarterback in the class of 2023. Completed 61-percent of his passes for 2,850 yards and 28 TDS in 12 games as a junior, helping his team to an 8-4 record. Led his Patriot team to the 2020 Class 2A state crown as a sophomore. Completed 29-of-44 passes for 367 yards and five TDs in the state championship game. Favorite TV show is “Breaking Bad.” His great grandfather Sam Francis was the 1936 Heisman Trophy runner-up and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1977 after a career as a fullback at Nebraska. He also placed fourth in the shot put at the 1936 Berlin Olympics, missing a medal by a half inch. Began playing football at age 5. Has three older siblings. Parents are Michael and Tanda Francis.
