Keahnist Thompson

Keahnist returns as a junior defensive end out of Lakeland, Florida. He transferred to Weber State from Central Florida prior to the 2023 season. In two years at Weber State, he has played in 19 games and has 36 tackles with 3.5 tackles for loss and one sack. 2024 (Sophomore) Played in all 12 games for the Wildcats during the season…Totaled 23 tackles on the year with 11 solo and 12 assisted…Had four tackles against Lamar and Northern Colorado…Also had 1.5 tackles for loss in WSU’s win over Portland State, including a half sack…Had three quarterback hurries and one pass breakup. 2023 (R-Freshman) Played in all 11 games for the Wildcats, helping Weber State to a ninth straight winning season after transferring from Central Florida…Had 29 total tackles on the year with 12 solo tackles and 17 assisted tackles…Had six tackles in the win at Northern Colorado and had four tackles at Utah…Also had four tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks…Had two sacks for losses of 18 yards against Northern Arizona…Also had two quarterback hurries on the year…Earned Big Sky Academic All-Conference honors in Exercise and Sport.
