Kade Pietrzak

Honors & Awards » Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll (Fall 2025) 2025 (Freshman) Kade Pietrzak played in all 13 games as a true freshman in 2025 with one start, totaling 17 tackles, 7.0 TFLs, 2.0 sacks, one pass breakup and one safety. He ranked third on the team in sacks and TFLs. Pietrzak led Nebraska with four tackles against Akron, the first four tackles of his career. Two of his four tackles were for a loss, including a three-yard TFL that resulted in a safety. Pietrzak recorded a quarterback hurry against Michigan State. He recorded two tackles at Maryland, finishing with 2.0 TFLs and his first career sack. Pietrzak was credited with a sack on an intentional grounding play on Maryland's final drive, which stalled on a failed fourth-down conversion three plays after his 14-yard sack. Pietrzak had one solo tackle and one quarterback hurry at Minnesota. He broke up the first pass of his career against Northwestern. Pietrzak had two tackles against No. 23 USC, including a six-yard sack. He recorded three tackles at UCLA, including 1.0 TFL. Pietrzak made his first career start at Penn State and had one solo tackle. He had two solo tackles against Iowa. Pietrzak ended his season with two solo tackles against No. 15 Utah in the Las Vegas Bowl, including a five-yard TFL. Before Nebraska (Sheyenne HS) Pietrzak was a state champion and the top player in the state for Sheyenne High School in North Dakota. Pietrzak helped the Mustangs to a pair of state championships during his career. As a senior, Pietrzak was the 2024 MaxPreps North Dakota High School Football Player of the Year and Class 3A Senior Athlete of the Year. He helped Sheyenne High to a state championship playing on both the offensive and defensive lines. Pietrzak totaled 58 tackles, 26 TFLs and five sacks as a senior. During his junior year, Pietrzak logged 72 tackles, 19 tackles for loss and two sacks. He earned first-team all-state honors for his performance as a junior. A four-star recruit, Pietrzak was the consensus choice as the No. 1 player in North Dakota. He was listed as one of the nation’s top 200 players by On3, which also ranked Pietrzak as the No. 24 defensive line prospect in the country. Personal Kade is the son of Antony Pietrzak and Janna Pietrzak. Kade has not declared a major.
