Justyn Rhett
Honors & Awards » Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll (Spring 2025) » Tom Osborne Citizenship Team (2025) 2025 (Sophomore) Justyn Rhett played in eight games with one start in 2025, totaling 13 tackles with a half tackle for loss. He recorded two tackles with a half TFL in his Husker debut against Akron. Rhett had one solo tackle against Michigan State. He had a career-high four tackles against Iowa. Rhett started the first game of his career in the Las Vegas Bowl against No. 15 Utah and set a career high with six tackles. Before Nebraska (Bishop Gorman HS/Georgia) Rhett spent two seasons at Georgia before transferring to Nebraska. He played in two games while redshirting in 2023, recording one tackle. Rhett also played in two games in 2024 and totaled two tackles. Prior to Georgia, Rhett was a high school All-American for powerhouse Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. He was ranked among the nation’s top 70 players by PrepStar Magazine and among the top 200 players by ESPN. Rhett was regarded as the No. 7 cornerback in his class by PrepStar. In his senior season, Rhett helped the Gaels to a state championship. Personal Rhett is a child, youth and family studies major.
