Get to Know Justin ... Who is your biggest role model and why? My biggest role model is my father because he has taught me all of the ins and outs of football. He has also taught me to be the young man that I am today. Tell us about your hometown/where you’re from? I played most of high school football in Tampa, Florida, but my hometown is St. Louis, Missouri. I lived there for 15 years. How would you describe your game to someone who has never seen you play? My game is one of speed, versatility, power and play-making. I'm a three down back that can be used in any situation. 2025: Played in two games as a true freshman, against Wagner and Texas Tech... Recorded four carries for 32 yards in his first season as a Jayhawk... Wagner: Saw his first collegiate action and rushed for 33 yards on three attempts.... at Texas Tech: Had one carry for one yard. High School: Rated as a four-star recruit by Rivals and a three-star by 247sports … Attended Jesuit high school in Tampa and is originally from St. Louis, Missouri … Coached by Matt Thompson at Jesuit high school … Ranked as the nation’s 10th best All-Purpose back … As a junior in 2023, he carried for 812 yards and 14 touchdowns, averaging 4.8 yards-per-carry … He also caught 22 passes for 198 yards and three touchdowns, leading Jesuit to the regional finals of the Florida 3M Playoffs … In 2022, ran for 169 yards and two touchdowns … Also competed in track and field, where he was a regional qualifier in the 100 meters as a sophomore and placed 11th as a freshman in the Missouri 5A State Championship.
