Prior to North Carolina Redshirted during the 2024 season • Played for coach Marcus Shavers at McKinney • Switched to linebacker as a junior after playing on offense for his entire career • Co-leader of the team with six sacks as a senior while accumulating 37 tackles, four tackles for loss, three fumble recoveries, a blocked field goal and a touchdown in 11 games • Recorded 48 tackles, a team-high 4.5 sacks, two blocked field goals and a forced fumble at Pearce High School in Richardson as a junior • As a receiver, logged a pair of receptions for 16 yards as a sophomore • Also competed in track and field • Earned first team all-academic honors • Ranked the No. 55 linebacker prospect in the class by Rivals and No. 62 at his position by ESPN.
