Made his first interception on the road against West Virginia in week 10 with a 22-yard return. The following week at home against Arizona State he added his second career interception. AT SOUTHAVEN HIGH SCHOOL A two-time captain for head coach Eddie Stevenson of Southaven High, leading the Chargers to a record of 19-5 in his last two seasons. Named the 2022 Class 6A Defensive Player of the Year by the Mississippi Association of Coaches after recording more than 50 tackles and three interceptions in his senior season. Tabbed a Mississippi Class 6A First-Team All-State selection in 2022. Selected and participated in the 2022 Mississippi/Alabama All-Star, where he intercepted a pass early in the game.
