Mother, Jodi, was a volleyball letterwinner at Kansas from 1986-89... Jax was a fullback for the Wildcats from 2019 to 2022... Joe Jr. was a linebacker for Kansas, while Jay was also a linebacker for the Jayhawks... Grandfather, Ron Oelschlager, played running back at KU from 1962-64, while his great grandfather played basketball at KU for Phog Allen.
