AWARDS/HONORS 2025 Phil Steele CUSA All-Conference Fourth Team (S) 2025 All-Conference USA Honorable Mention Defense (DB) 2025 CUSA Defensive Player of the Week (8/25) Before WKU: Lewis transferred to WKU after one season at Temple, where he appeared in 11 games with six starts during the 2024 season. He totaled 43 tackles, with two for loss, plus an interception, six pass breakups and a forced fumble for the Owls. Lewis arrived at Temple after starting his career at Arkansas, where he played in four games over the 2022 and 2023 seasons. He posted three tackles as a Razorback. HS/Misc.: Lewis prepped at Haywood High School in Tennessee and was a consensus three-star prospect according to 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN. 247Sports rated him the No. 19 player in Tennessee and the No. 52 player in the country at his position. As a senior, he recorded 31 tackles and an interception he returned for a touchdown, and he also caught 51 passes for 977 yards and 14 touchdowns to help his team to a 13-1 record and a state semifinal appearance. In addition, he rushed 15 times for 88 yards, had two kick returns for 105 yards and had nine punt returns for 145 yards. As a junior in 2020, he helped Haywood to the state title game by posting 56 tackles, four tackles for loss and seven interceptions during the season. He was named to the All-West Tennessee Defensive First Team.
