2024 Played in 10 games for the Pirates as a freshman Had 23 solo and seven assisted tackles for a total of 30 stops Had 10 tackles at William & Mary on Sept. 28 Finished with three tackles and a tackle for loss in a 59-17 win at North Carolina A&T on Oct. 19 A standout student-athlete, he was named to the CAA Commissioner’s Honor Roll (3.00 GPA or better) for the Fall 2024 Earned Hampton University Dean’s List honors (3.00 or higher GPA) for the Fall 2024 semester High School Whaley helped lead James Island High to a 12-1 record in 2023 He registered 30 solo tackles, 15 assists for 45 total tackles in 12 games. He also had three interceptions, two tackles for loss and returned two interceptions for touchdowns He played in the 76th Touchstone Energy North-South All-Star Game A three-year starter at James Island High
