Get to Know James ... What is the significance behind your jersey number? I got issued number 71 in high school and. have worn it ever since. At what age did you start playing football and how did you get into football? I started playing football in fourth grade and I started playing because my father loved football. Tell us about your hometown/where you're from? I'm from a small town in Michigan called Dexter which is just outside of Ann Arbor. It only has 3,000 people. 2025: Played in three games in 2025, including Fresno State, Wagner and Oklahoma State. 2024: Lindenwood: Saw game action against Lindenwood. 2023: Did not see game action and opted to redshirt the 2023 season.
