Get to Know Jameer ... What is the significance behind your jersey number? The number three. Three being the first number and six equalling two three's. At what age did you start playing football and how did you get into football? I started playing at age 5 and my dad got me into the game of football. Who is your biggest role model? My brother who passed. He gives me another reason to keep going. I know if I give up I'm giving up on more than myself. Who was your favorite player growing up and who do you model your game after? Darrelle Revis, a previous New York Jets cornerback. Tell us about your hometown/where you're from? I'm from Salina, Kansas. There's not much to do at all which gives it significance. The weather is crazy as well. How would you describe your game to someone who hasn't seen you play? Patient, but observant. And athletic. 2025: Did not see game action. 2024: Did not see game action as a true freshman. High School: Played wide receiver and cornerback under head coach Mark Sandbo at Salina Central… Was named All-State Honorable Mention defensive back as a senior… Voted as a Top-100 Seniors by SportsInKansas… Also runs track and field at Salina Central.
