High School: Joined Charleston Southern from Adairsville, Georgia where he attended Adairsville High School where he played under Head Coach Jon Cudd who was also his position coach ... He played as a two-way player during his senior season, he scored six offensive touchdowns while on the defensive side of the ball he had 23 tackles, four pass breakups, an interception and two tackles for loss ... In his junior year, he had 95 rushes for 733 yards and 14 total touchdowns while collecting a total of 1092 all-purpose yards ... In his sophomore year, he stayed just on defense and had 23 tackles to go with eight pass breakups and four interceptions ... Some of the top games of his career came against Gilmer when he was responsible for four touchdowns as well as one against Coahulla Creek when he ran for 189 yards and had two touchdowns ... He was named the Athlete of the Year following his junior year and was a First-Team All-Region defensive back in his sophomore campaign ... Led Adairsville to back-to-back region titles in his sophomore and junior seasons ... Was a three-sport athlete as he was also on the basketball and track & field teams ... While on the basketball team, he helped them to back-to-back region championships in his sophomore and junior seasons ...
