CAREER NOTES: First year at Tulsa … Played his first season at ETSU prior to enrolling at Tulsa in the spring of 2025 … Has appeared in three career-games. PRIOR TO TULSA: Played one season at ETSU under current TU head coach Tre Lamb … Appeared in three-career games at ETSU. In his true freshman campaign in 2024, Hood appeared in three games. Made his collegiate debut on September 7 vs. UVA Wise. Also played in SoCon games vs. Western Carolina and Furman. HIGH SCHOOL Played at Rabun County High School for coach Mike Davis. Multi-sport athlete at Rabun County High School – lettered in football, basketball and golf. Three-time all-state selection. Named Region 8-A first team all-region in 2022 and 2023. Earned Lineman of the Week honors by Blitz Sports Georgia on Aug. 21, 2023 – posted a 90% grade where he helped the Wildcats total 362 yards of offense, including 9.5 yards per carry. Averaged 7.3 points and 4.6 rebounds per game in basketball – 65 games played. Member of the National Honor Society, football team captain senior year, and voted “Best All Around” by peers in senior superlatives. PERSONAL Son of John and Amy Hood. Brother Gus plays basketball at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Ga. Jack’s twin sister, Lucy plays basketball at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tenn.
