Son of Jamie and Kerri Swygard. WHAT ARE THE REASONS YOU CHOSE TO ATTEND LINFIELD? I chose to attend Linfield because of the community feel and the people. It feels like home, and everyone there is supportive of one another. WHAT DOES BEING A STUDENT-ATHLETE MEAN TO YOU? Being a student-athlete at Linfield, to me, means more opportunity. Opportunity to create everlasting bonds. Create a brotherhood, meet new people, and share stories with new people. HOW HAS PARTICIPATING IN SPORTS MADE YOU A BETTER PERSON? Participating in sports has made me a better person because it has helped me stay disciplined. Throughout high school, they helped me stay on top of my grades and be prepared for what is to come. WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 10 YEARS? In 10 Years, I see myself continuing to grow and succeed as a person. Still creating new bonds and memories. WHAT’S THE BEST LINFIELD CLASS YOU’VE TAKEN AND WHY? The best Linfield class I have taken is the economics of college sports. WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INSPIRATION IN YOUR LIFE? WHY HAS HE OR SHE BEEN SO INFLUENTIAL? My dad has been the greatest inspiration. I have always looked up to how hard he works and how well he treats others. THE GREATEST PRINCIPLE OR LESSON THAT I’VE LEARNED WHILE COMPETING IN ATHLETICS AT LINFIELD HAS BEEN… How much I value the people around me. Each and every person on my team has impacted me in some shape or form. My team is like a family. AS A LINFIELD STUDENT-ATHLETE, MY GOALS INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY FOR MY TEAM ARE… To be the best. As a team our goal is to win and I know we can do that.
