Ja'quan Redfern
At Murray State Joins the Racers for the 2025 season as a transfer from Shippensburg. Before MSU Played two seasons in 2023 and 2024 at Shippensburg. In 2023, appeared in three games and had three tackles, including one sack against West Chester. In 2024, played in 11 games with 19 tackles and a forced fumble. Came out of Schalick High School in 2022 as the 32nd ranked prep player from New Jersey. Had 210 career tackles at SHS. Selected to the West Jersey Football League (WJFL) Horizon Division First Team Defense as a senior. Was a two-time First Team All-Conference selection and was New Jersey Second Team All-State as a senior. Had an amazing game of 33 tackles in a single game on Homecoming 2023 vs Cumberland in a 44-13 win. 22 of his tackles were of the solo variety. Four-time member of the Schalick honor roll. Also competed in basketball.
