Finished with 21 tackles, three tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, two quarterback hurries and one pass breakup. Started the first three games of the season at defensive end before suffering a season-ending lower leg injury during the 2023 season. Tallied 13 total tackles, including 1.5 sacks. Recorded a season-high five tackles and a sack against Northwestern State (Sept. 9). Appeared in all 12 games while making one start during the 2022 season. Tallied 19 total tackles, including 3.5 for loss. Had a 30-yard fumble return for a touchdown and two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in a win over Stephen F. Austin (Sept. 10). Appeared in two games, appearing mostly on special teams. HIGH SCHOOL Graduated from Nolan Catholic High School in 2021. Rated as a three-star outside linebacker by Rivals.com and 247Sports.com. Helped lead Nolan Catholic to an 8-1 record as a senior in 2020. Led the team to a runner-up-finish at the 2020 state championships. Holds the school record for blocked punts/kicks in a single season. Forced a fumble on a sack in the first playoff game of the 2020 campaign that was then recovered for a touchdown.
