2024 – Sophomore • Practiced with the team • Dean’s List (Spring 2024) 2023 – Freshman • Practiced with the team • Dean’s List (Fall 2023) High School • A versatile athlete who played quarterback at Lafayette High School before transferring to Lexington Catholic as a linebacker and tight end as a senior • Played for Eric Shaw at Lafayette and Bert Bathiany at Lexington Catholic • Played in 10 of 13 games as a senior and totaled 90 tackles, 15.0 tackles for loss, nine quarterback hurries and three pass breakups • Named to the All-City Team by the Lexington Herald-Leader after helping the Knights to a 10-3 record in 2022 • Also named All-District and to PrepZone’s 4A All-State First Team • Earned one letter on the basketball team at Lafayette • Rejoins high school teammates Max DeGraff and Jack Monday at UK • Chose Kentucky over Coastal Carolina Personal • Born in Lexington, Kentucky • Son of Stephen and Joy Beth Dawahare • Siblings are Brooke, Anna and Madden • Majors are pre-management and pre-finance Hayden Says • He chose Kentucky because it’s his hometown and it was his dream school • One word to describe him on the field is “competitive” • His dream job after football is to be a missionary • His sports hero is Tim Tebow because of how strong he is in his faith • The highlights of his life so far have been coming to Kentucky to play football and being baptized
