The tackle for loss came in WKU's win over Jax State in the Nov. 30 regular-season finale – a victory that sent the Hilltoppers to the Conference USA Championship Game. As a junior in 2022, he recorded 58 tackles, with nine for loss and five sacks, two fumble recoveries and an interception, helping Westlake to a 9-4 record and a regional quarterfinal appearance in Georgia's AAAAAAA playoffs.
