2024: Started in all 11 games for GU. recorded 91 total tackles (48 solo, 43 assists), including seven TFLs and three sacks. He also tallied three passes defended, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. Made a season high of 16 tackles while also recording a forced fumble against Lehigh. Earned a Patriot League Weekly Honorable Mention on November 18th with eight tackles (6 solo, 2 assists), one TFL, and one forced fumble in the contest against Fordham University. Earned a Patriot League Weekly Honorable Mention on November 4th with 16 tackles (8 solo, 8 assists) and one forced fumble in the game against Lehigh University. Earned a Patriot League Weekly Honorable Mention on October 28th with five tackles (4 solo, 1 assist) and a sack in a 21-20 win over Bucknell. Earned a Patriot League Weekly Honorable Mention on October 21st with 13 tackles (10 solo, 3 assists) in the contest against Colgate. Named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. Named to the 2024 Patriot League Academic All-League Second Team Defense. Named to the 2024 All-Patriot League Second Team Defense. Named to the 2024 Phil Steele Patriot League Preseason All-Conference Second Team. Named to the 2024 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. 2023: Played 10 games for the Hoyas. Recorded 27 solo tackles and 11 assists. Made 5.5 tackles for a loss of 15 yards and two sacks for a loss of six yards. Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. Prior to Georgetown: Attended Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii. Was a starter during his junior and senior years and was named captain as a senior. As captain, Rufo led his team to the State Championship game after winning the ILH Conference Championship. The linebacker was named ILH Conference Defensive Player of the Year, All-State Defense First Team, Hawaii State Sack Leader and Punahou School Defensive MVP in 2022. During his senior year at Punahou, he tallied 76 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, 12 sacks and two forced fumbles.
