2025: Roy will compete for playing time at quarterback and holder as a redshirt junior in 2024. 2024: Roy saw action in 1 game (Texas A&M) at holder as a redshirt sophomore in 2024. 2023: Roy did not see action at quarterback as a redshirt freshman in 2023. 2022: Roy did not see action at quarterback as a true freshman in 2022. HIGH SCHOOL: He made 2021 All-District 7-6A first team as a senior quarterback at Jesuit Dallas (Tex.) Prep. He completed 202-of-286 passes (70.6%) for 2,798 yards with 28 touchdowns and 4 interceptions in 2022, as well as gaining 54 yards on 32 carries (1.7 avg) with 2 TDs. As a junior in 2020, he made Second Team All-District as he hit 186-of 268 passes (69.4%) for 2,714 yards with 28 TDs and 8 interceptions and he also ran for 50 yards on 30 carries (1.7 avg) with 2 scores. PERSONAL: He is majoring in Real Estate Development at USC. He earned placement on the 2023 Pac-12 Fall Academic Honor Roll and the 2024 Big Ten Fall All-Academic Team. His mother and grandfather are USC graduates. His family has had USC football season tickets for more than 50 years.
