2025 (Freshman): Appeared in all 13 games as a true freshman… Rushed for 388 yards and three touchdowns… Added 12 receptions and kickoff return duties HIGH SCHOOL Named the DC Touchdown Club's Virginia High School Player of the Year. Also tabbed as the 6D North Region Offensive Player of the Year and a First-Team All-Purpose Offensive Player of the Year. The Virginia High School League Class 6 State Offensive Player of the Year helped Madison win Concorde District and 6D North Region championships, finish a close second in the state tournament and compile a 14-1 overall record. The 14 victories were the Warhawks’ most ever in a single season. In addition to being named the state’s Offensive Player of the Year, Knicely received that same honor in the district and region this past season. He was a First-Team All-Class 6 on offense in 2023 and 2024. Rushed for 1,396 yards and 20 touchdowns, caught 46 passes for 1,039 yards and 15 touchdowns and returned one kickoff and two punts for touchdowns to lead Madison to the Virginia 6A championship game. Had 229 all-purpose yards in Madison’s victory in the region-championship game over Washington-Liberty, scoring three TDs in three different ways, including a 70-yard punt return, He completed his career with 3,194 yards rushing, 1,370 yards receiving and 1,345 in kick returns. A postseason standout in five playoff games for Madison in 2024, Knicely rushed for 513 yards and seven touchdowns, caught 19 passes for 383 yards and seven TDs and returned kicks for 150 yards and a score. In the state final, Knicely caught six passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns, and he ran for 86 yards and a score.
