Father, Leonard Davila, played baseball at Blinn College, Concordia University, and UIW; also played in multiple professional leagues, including the TX–LA League (Bayou Bullfrogs), European Professional Baseball League (Paderborn Untouchables), and the All-American Association (Albany Alligators). Enjoys fishing, being with family, watching movies, and playing football. Favorite spot on campus: The Bell Center. Favorite spot in San Antonio: The River Walk. Fun facts: Loves watermelon. Favorite athletes include Malcolm Brown, Sean Taylor, and Brian Dawkins. Always prays and gives God the glory before games. Excited to be a Trinity Tiger.
